My name is Matthew Robbins. The Lord called me to repentance and faith near the end of college, in large part through my beautiful future wife, Leah. She challenged my weak views of God and Jesus Christ and forced me to think through the Bible’s claims. 10 months later, we were married. Now, I reside in Cincinnati, OH with Leah and our son, Seth, born in December of 2008.
I also obtained my MBA in 2007, and I’m currently working as a consultant with insurance companies (just as fun as it sounds), but my passion is for the Lord and the furtherance of his glory. I’ve run this blog since April of 2008, and I really enjoy helping others determine what music and books are really worth the investment of their time. I’ve also taken some theology classes and am looking into the possibility of seminary somewhere in the future. In the meantime, I make due by reading as many books as my wife will allow me to buy (aside from my family, I’m most proud of my upstairs library).
In my spare time, in addition to reading, I love listening to music, and spending time with my family (both my parents and in-laws live in Cincinnati, along with some siblings on both sides, so free time is scarce but babysitters are plentiful).
